Bishop Collins is a graduate of the University of Memphis, in Memphis, TN, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication and Fine Arts.  She also holds a Master of Divinity Degree from The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA.   She has sat under the spiritual tutelage of the late Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson of Bountiful Blessings Church of God in Christ in Memphis, TN and is presently under the spiritual oversight of Bishop Jonathan Greer, II, of Cathedral of Divine Love in Atlanta, GA.  She founded and organized Faith Walk Ministries, Inc. in College Park, GA in 1992, and continues to serve as the Senior Pastor.  She is a lyricist, soloist, playwright and author of two books: “Preacher Tidbits” and “Pebbles in the Sand.”  Over a twenty-five year pastorate, a number of affiliate churches have been established under her leadership and continue to thrive to this day.

Bishop Collins believes in giving back to the community.  She organized and spearheaded a food and energy assistance program called:  “Operation Care Community Outreach” for eligible residents of Clayton County, GA.  She has also served as a bible study instructor for Hancock State Prison in Sparta, GA and volunteer at the Atlanta Day Shelter for Displaced Women and Children in Atlanta, GA.  She is affectionately known as the “Seed Faith Apostle.”

Her ministry motto is:  “Keep first things first!” and is based on St. Matthew 6:33 which says, “But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  (KJV)
